I'm a recovered addict/alcoholic whose been clean n' sober since May 2009. Transparency for a con like me is paramount. Now that I've laid my cards on the table, let me tell you a bit of "Who I am Today". I'm the inmate elected Alam. I give sermons and lead prayers. I have a future goal of being an addictions worker, and have authored an addictions workshop. I've also written my memoirs on addiction, aptly titled "Struggling to Surrender". I hope to publish both via non-profit prison ministry, for at risk youth so as not to allow my past and present to become their futures, Amen! I listen to all genres of music and especially enjoy "Intelligent" Drum n Bass. I enjoy movies, I busy my time with event planning, intellectual and spiritual pursuits and comparative/religious study.

My Top 10 favorite Music genres/bands are: Intelligent Drum n Bass, Jungle/Drum n Bass, Old School Reggae, Old School Hip Hop, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Tony Orlando & Dawn, Bony M, Engle Bert Humperdinck, Old School Bollywood. My Top 10 Places I'd like to go to are: Makkah - Saudi Arabia, Medina - Saudi Arabia, Jerusalem - Israel, Egypt - Cairo, Gujarat & Agra - India, Barbados, Fiji, Ethiopia, China.

Barbed wires woven on fences high above the ground;

Innocents stolen and left at the lost and found.

This vicious cycle of madness keeps going round and round;

It'll never end until I'm six feet underground!

Razors edge, barbs, coiled up like a snake;

Ready to slice and dice me from the moment I awake.

Shredded and serrated, he's out on the take;

I've got a lot riding on this one my soul is at stake!

Behind barbed wires, crissed crossed and inserted;

F@CK!NG place I hate it, it's evil and perverted!
